    Hi everyone,
I have a sager np8298 that I bought through xoticpc and it has been absolutely fantastic so far. However starting today I'm encountering a problem with the audio jack.
When I plug my surround receiver into it all I get is a loud buzzing noise like it isn't making full contact or something. When I plug in headphones, the buzzing isn't there but all I can hear is the background audio of tracks.
I've checked all the settings and everything seems in order.

I'm assuming the jack is broken but I'd prefer not to have to send it in for repair for such a small issue. Is this something I can fix myself easily?

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about the plug issues. Were you previously hooking up the surround receiver in the same way and it was working normally then? Have you tried a new cable just to double check.

Are you certain the connection is secure (pushed all the way in)? Also, have you checked the default Playback devices in Windows? When you connect an audio device, Windows is suppose to default to it for output, but sometimes you have to manually configure the default device.
