Hey all, I've been a lurker for a while here, and have had a Sager NP8658-S for about 6 months now, and the only thing that really bothers me is how much the screen ghosts. I'm fairly sure in reality it isnt that bad, but coming from a 144hz desktop screen, it feels really bad in first person shooters.

To get to the point -- I was wondering if it would be possible to find a faster panel and replace it as long as it uses the same connector (eDP?).

Nothing particularly fast on the market just yet.

I haven't really seen a lot of different screens offered on that model, and I don't know if there are any 120/144hz screens available in the 15" size. 120hz screens pretty much only show up on 17" models.

What screen do you have now, and have you looked in to possibly overclocking it?

I currently have an LG Philips LP156WF6 right now. I tried overclocking it but even at 62hz, it just displays a white screen. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or what.

What are the 120Hz AW 15 panels from? The Aorus X5 is also supposed to have one, and Eurocom has been hinting at it for the Tornado F5.

    I think the Aorus X5 is a 2880×1620 60Hz G-Sync, correct? I didn't think it was 120Hz.

A 1080p 120hz was promised in the beginning.

    Still likely eventually.
