The E8500 is dual-core, the rest are quad core. The E8500 and Q9550 are complete opposite ends of the price spectrum, but which one you pick depends on a few factors. The E8500 would be best for gaming, since currently games run best on dual-core processors; they can't take advantage of the quads. If you're rendering 3D or using intensive professional programs, go for the quad core. Of course, you also need to a price comparison, but that's a different story ;)

Edit: Wow, in the time it took to type that two people replied already. I'm also figuring you mean the 9262 - otherwise you'd have different cpu options than this

Well you're going to have to go with 17" - it's what the NP9262 comes with

I would buy a Q9450 if I were in the market for a Clevo D90xC.

The 9262 is 12lbs and up. That's almost twice the weight of most 15.4 laptops. You might want to take that into account.

Yeah, but you can have SLI + three HDDs + quad core CPU... things which are irrelevant anyway (to most people).

I think the 9262 offers great capabilities. I pointed out the weight as the OP mentioned that he/she had only used 15 inchers previously. The 9262 will probably come as a "LARGE" surprise. :D

Yeah, but it might not be that large for everyone. It's big, yeah, but you get used to it.
