My computer hasn't worked since the release of Windows 7 (even under Windows Vista). I reformatted the hard-drive, did a clean install, and downloaded updated drivers from the Sager Web site, twice.

I read in a this thread that people are successfully working under Windows 7 by installing the drivers manually. After I downloaded the drivers, I clicked setup.exe to install the drivers.

Am I installing the drivers incorrectly? If so, can someone give me detailed instructions on how to install the drivers manually? Is anyone else having these problems? Any other ideas about what I can do to get my laptop working again? Thanks for any input you may post.

I believe when they say installing manually, they mean going into the device manager and then pointing to the folder the drivers are in. If that is the case you will have to do each individually.

What exactly do you mean by "not working"?

Most recently, at the windows log-on screen, a pop-up box tells me:
    Fingerprint Software Error
An internal error occurred (provider :provider:srv-proc-not-rdy).
0xe7210001 An internal error occurred (provider :provider:srv-proc-not-rdy).
I close the box, type in my password, and hit enter. After that, I'm stuck looking at the word "Welcome" and a little circle turning, with no end in sight. I've left the computer like that for over an hour twice, and there was no change. The computer is completely frozen at this point. I've also tried restarting instead of typing in my password, but the result was the same (except instead of the word "Welcome," it says "Shutting Down").
