    Hi guys!
I've been looking for a good gaming laptop for a while now and I think I've finally found what I was looking for. But looking at reviews and this forum I couldn't find any feedback on how this laptop actually performs. I realize it's new so there are no reviews yet but has anyone tried this laptop or any similar to this one? It seems like such a steal for its price

We had one back in our production
It is an awesome PC, let us know if you have any other questions about it after reviewing those owners lounges!

Keep in mind some of the differences with skylake such as DDR4 ram.

Yeah I've actually decided on ordering this laptop from XOTIC PC, hopefully the process is going to be easy(I want to get the student discount too). Just trying to decide whether to get 6700HQ or 6820HK..

The 6820hk is more for tweakers :) if that's interesting to you then go for it.

Awesome choice. Happy to help any way I can!

Like meaker said if you want to be able to overclock your CPU or have a little more control over it the 6820HK would be the way to go. It's also just a little more powerful with the stock config :)

Alright decided on 6700. How long is the shipping process usually considering I order tomorrow or tuesday? I'm not going to pick anything special like painting

We normally say it can be 7 to 12 business days on the estimated time frame for the computer to be done. Sager is usually on the quicker side, but there is always the chance of maybe a back ordered part coming up, or something along those lines. Then shipping times will vary depending on where it is going. Shipping alone can be 2 to 5 business days for ground shipping.

I am looking at the same PC, did you end up buying it? I am mainly wondering about how it does with heat during gaming.

    Thanks,
    Alex

Quite well, despite the thin design. A good compound goes a long way in these; ICD or similar will probably keep things in the low to mid 80s C. It's incumbent - in part - on how you treat the laptop, too, of course. :vbwink:

It does pretty well with heat. The dual fans on it keep it pretty cool. I would also recommend a premium thermal compound like IC diamond which will help during extended game play.

I can't seem to break 80'C on my GPU with maximum quality settings on FFXIV:RR, if that helps. locked at around 60FPS as well..... so, in other words, its great!

I have the 8658-S/P650-RG, only difference is the 15.4" screen.

    980M, 6820hk

It may be a bit thinner but the dual fan for the GPU compensates for that.

In general, I'd say it runs cooler than a lot of other slim models, due to that fact. Not too big, but still plenty of options to upgrade as well.

Hi, I have a problem with my 6 months old P670RG.
This night I used it and turned it off. Then tried to turn it on again few minutes later, nothing, blue led is on, but nothing on the screen and fans not turning on, just HDD spinning up. With AC, same but after few seconds fans spin up to maximum and three lock leds start flashing. I tried to boot it without HDDs, swapping RAM and it is same.
This happened month ago, and then next morning it started working properly. But now I don't know what to do, I need it to work and I am quite stressed. What can possibly happen?
