I've owned my Sager NP8690 for about a month now and I have a few questions on two issues I've experienced with the computer. First, when playing games in battery life, my computer with completely die after its battery is under 40 percent. Changing my screen brightness and battery settings can allow my battery to be further depleted. My friend owns an identical machine to mine and experiences this issue as well. Does anyone know how this issue can by be solved and if it is common? My second issue is with the power button. My power button is completely functional and responsive, but it has little to no click when pressed. My friends computer does click noticeably. I turn my computer on and off multiple times each day, will my button fail?

So yeah, the text in red is your first problem...so try not playing games on battery life...especially the more intensive games. Not good for your computer.

Secondly, you can adjust the percentage battery life at which the notebook shuts down in the battery options. Just type "battery options" in the start menu.

I don't really play games in battery life, but when I do the computer completely dies and when I turn on my computer I'm told that "Windows did not start correctly" so this definitely isn't a normal setting in the OS, likely a driver or bios issue

The battery cannot handle the power requirements of gaming, so if the cpu/gpu usage goes above a certain threshold then the computer will run out of power and hard shutdown. If gaming on battery, you need to limit the cpu/gpu power levels.
