So my battery started not holding a charge since yesterday. I took out the battery and it looks like there is a slight bulge on the inside. The battery therefore cannot be placed back correctly into its compartment. Any idea why this happened and how to fix it? I filed a support ticket with xoticpc so hopefully i can fix this myself or get a new battery.

good thing you werent able to put it back as it could have been dangerous.
afaik a bulging battery is really EOL. hopefully xotic sends you a replacement. -
Whats EOL? end of life? I wonder if the heat here in the philippines has something to do with it.

Definitely the heat in OUR country would not do anything with the battery. The ambient temps here are far away from dangerous in frying a battery. It may have been a defective battery in your part, ask for a replacement.
P.S. Clevo owners in our country are starting to grow, I'm glad by that -
Ok, so I got an RMA from sager and xoticpc. do you guys know the best way to send it to them from our country? the cheaper the better of course.
-
contact justin at xoticpc who will give advice on the best and safest way to send it back to them.

the cheapest way would be through PhilPost's EMS but of course the faster and safest way would be either with FedEx or UPS which cost a lot more than EMS, around 1K Php.

on a similar note, is there a cover i can get to replace the battery itself?
