Hi. I've been using my NP8690 for a quite a long time now and it's been great except the fact that the GPU fan noise is ridiculously loud at times.

I've been searching a way to reduce the fan noise online and tried adjusting GPU clock speed by using AMD clock tool and it worked. I saw this from a guide in a thread somewhere here. The only problem with underclocking was after doing so, the CPU fan side started making frequent chirping (or small beeping) noises.

Has anyone experienced this and what could be the problem?

P.S. The chirping noise is coming from the left side. I took the sticker off couple weeks ago.

EDIT: Oops I feel stupid. The sound wasn't coming from the Laptop. It was coming from the Power Adapter. LOL
