    Hi guys i just installed Split Second.
    on high graphics the game is ok but when i put on very high it lags a lot. That shouldnt be like that right? I mean it shouldnt have any problems handling that am i correct? Thx in advance..
    EDIT: now i c even in high setting it lags..

    First of all, you need to give us your detailed spec, or at least CPU, RAM and GPU.
    Secondly, you posted in the wrong section... it would be better if you post in the owner lounge thread or the main board.

    Do you have a similar issue with other games? or just split second. Have you checked your temps to be sure they are okay? What driver version you using?

    Well i was with older vers., then i installed the latest drivers. i flashed my bios it was older vers too-didnt worked i dunno why it is but i dont have same issue with other games. my temps are ok idle about 53 when playing well i havent seen it more then 73 76 i think.

    anyone? :(

    How old is the OS? Can you try it on a different (new) OS or a similar machine?
    Check that V synch is off. Check weather your storage needs to be defrag'ed.

    Hi. the os is like 2 monthts old even less. vsync is off. i have enough storage and im currently using the ssd drive. i cant try the game on different machine :(. its gotta be the OS or the game release :| i'm gonna reinstall them both..in couple days

    i play split second with my 280m overclocked a bit and i only have one setting that isnt in max (detail?) vsync off fhd.
    it never lagged, i got slower framrates on max but it never lagged either.
    it runs silky smooth in fact. could be its more optimized for nvidia cards/drivers moreso than ati?
