    Hi there,

I purchased my NP8952 for less than a month. Just yesterday my usb port failed. I'm unsure if the device is defective or just driver issue.

    1. I tried restarting the computer (with hibernate off)
    2. Uninstall the driver and plug the device into the port ( doesn't work)
    3. I also used microsoft usb port diagnostic and found no issue.

I went on sager's website for a usb driver, but there is currently no usb driver available.

When i plug it in when right after I start the computer, there is power, but the device is non-usable. After the computer started, my mouse did not even light up.

Did anyone run into the same problem, or does anyone know a solution to the issue.

    Thanks

Windows 10 has the built in driver that all systems use, it sounds like one of the pins in the connector is having an issue. Does it do it with both USB3 and USB2 devices?

    Thanks for the reply,

It is only that particular USB 2.0 port. All the other port is fine.

Have you examined the port, does it look ok internally?

    Hi Meaker,

Sorry for the late reply, the port looks great. I took some photos here.

It is the 2.0port of the left.

I think the ports broke down after i restarted my computer. It was connected to my keyboard all the time.

    Thanks

It's actually a USB 3.0 port but contact support if it's not recognizing any devices. It does not seem physically damaged from those angles but it may need a closer look.
