So, I got my my laptop 2 days ago and today all of a sudden, the keyboard backlit had stopped working. It's not a hardware issue since it works fine when starting after shutdown by lighting my previous color choices but after I sign in, the color shifts to solid blue (default color) and after a few seconds, abruptly shuts of. I have tried everything in the control center 2.0 but nothing helped. I don't know if I can do anything in the bios since there is nothing about the keyboard light in bios. Any suggestions or help?

Does setting the control center to not start with boot stop it going off?

Nope. Control Center is not even in the startup option through task manager. It doesn't automatically open after boot.

Perhaps a bios/ec reflashing is in order then.

You'll need the necessary files from your seller, copied to a USB drive - and probably some instructions.

Does the keyboard light up when booting up? If it does, it probably isn't a firmware issue. Try uninstalling CCC, restarting and installing that latest version of CCC before restarting again. You also might want to try manually turning on backlight by pressing Fn + * (the key above the numpad).

Yes it does light up when booting up and even when logged in. But after a couple of seconds. The mouse cursor does a loading thing and the keyboard goes to static blue and turns off after 2-3 seconds. I will try to reinstall CCC. could you possibly link me the latest firmware download page? I don't know where to find it. Would be a lot of help. Thanks.

Finally someone with an understanding and patience of a genius. You have no idea how many people told me to reset my pc or even send it back.Thank you so much for your help. Did exactly what you told me to do and now it works flawlessly. Thanks again brother.
