I been having a problem with really low FPS on my Sager for about 2-3 months now and I can't seem to fix the issue. One thing I have noticed overtime is that my laptop seems to have its fan running on high setting almost all the time. I pretty much start my computer and open up chrome and you can hear the fans very clearly. The fans always seemed to be fairly loud but only when I was playing games now it seems to be like that all the time. I am pretty sure my laptop temperatures are very high and I don't know if this is a separate issue from the FPS problem or not. The FPS is a pretty large drop since I cant even play like minecraft on the lowest setting(not sure exactly about FPS but its fairly hard to play the game) and I used to not have that problem. Also on LoL I used to get 130FPS now it will go all the way down to like 30 and its unstable and drops to like 10 sometimes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Download HWMonitor to see what your actual temps are.

Have you cleaned out the computer recently, like within the last 6 months? Its a good idea to do so espeically when you suspect high temps. Open up the bottom main panel and clean on the vents and fans with a can of compressed air. Do use something like a pencil to prevent the fans from spinning freely to avoid ball bearing damage.

Okay so I cleaned it out like a week ago with a compressed air can. And HWMonitor has it idle at like 63, when I have chrome open(normal use/not gaming) its at 87, when im gaming its at 97-98.

You're not mentioning what part those temps are for, but since it actually hits 97-98 I'll assume you meant you CPU.

That is extremely hot. I suggest you get that looked at. You may need to repaste your CPU/GPU, but that kind of temperature spike is ridiculous. I hope you get it sorted out soon. If nothing else, a RMA should suffice to make sure it works properly, because that is not proper usage.

Those are higher then they should be. Repaste the CPU and GPU while you're at it and let us know how the temps are after that.
Also make sure you are using it on a flat surface so you do not block the intake vents on the bottom of the computer.

Remove the fans from the heatsink and check for clogged fins too.

can you also download gpu-z from my link below and check the temperature of your gpu. click on the middle tab called sensors then on the 3rd box down click on the down arrow and change it to show highest reading.

as mentioned those cpu temps are quite high. depending on your ambient room temperature this can add upto 10c sometimes.
raising the notebook up a fraction on the 2 back feet can help as it gives more room for air to get to the bottom vents and its not a good idea to have a wall right behind the laptop as expelled heat just bounces back. 8-10" space behind is ok.

here is a good read on the various application methods of thermal paste Application

and a great video from the nut himself HTWingNut http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/751348-repasting-your-sager-video-np7330-example.html

The 7 carat should be plenty for 5-6 paste jobs.

For GPU-Z it says the highest reading is 98.0 C. My temperature in the room is like 73/74, my laptop is on my desk and not very close to any wall, and I will try to raise the back of my laptop.

It doesnt sound like an air flow problem, I would repaste as soon as you can. While you wait for the paste to arrive it wont hurt to raise the bottom/back.

You can check the heatsink for fluff before the paste arrives, the fan can be removed separately from the rest.

Shouldn't the GPU be throttling right about 93 degrees, so to avoid damage?

Depends on the gpu, they have different throttle points.

That usually causes the largest temp rises over time without maintenance, I just cleaned out my parents machine which had a little carpet along the fins (they like to use it on the new carpet despite my warnings lol).

Just remember with an exposed die rather than a desktop chip with a heat spreader you need less.

If you are unsure, put it on and then take it off and have a look, was there too much or too little? Does it look even?

Once you have removed it to check if there was enough then clean it all off then apply new. If you put it back down there will be air pockets which inhibits heat transfer.
