Hello!
I have a Sager NP9130.
16 GB of DDR3, Core i7 3610 QM, 670m graphics card, and a 750gb hard drive.
I'm having a rather odd issue with my laptop. The past week or so, during gaming (whether it be on WoW or WoT) I experienced a sudden... loss of control, as in the keyboard does not respond, nor the mouse. It does this for about 3 seconds or so, and then my laptop will just, shut off. Completely, shut off. The power light to indicate charging does not light, it acts as if I took the battery out (however it does not respond to pushing the power button). I have to remove the power plug for the laptop to begin responding again, at which it will start up fine and run normally again.
This only seems to happen during gaming, which would make me believe it's a temperature or a power related issue. However, it is not a temp related problem (at least, GPU wise) as I've logged my temps, and the highest it goes is about 61 C. It sounds like it may be a power problem, as in the power adapter may not be giving enough juice to the laptop putting strain on it ? (I don't know, that's just my theory)
Or is it a hard drive issue, or... what is it? I'm rather confused.
Is this an issue anyone else has come across before? As I've said before, this has happened twice recently and I'm a little worried.
Thanks!
