Just bought Windows 8 Pro from my school. Just bought a Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 that runs Windows 8 Pro so I decided to keep things in better sync and for more functionality over RDP that I should upgrade to Windows 8 as well for my laptop. Other than getting the right drivers online, is there anything else I need to do to make sure my laptop is ready to run Windows 8?
Also, since I will be deleting the partitions when clean installing, does Linux have drivers for Optimus yet? And if not, does that mean the integrated card or discrete card become the video card? One of my classes uses a lot of Unix and I figured it'd be good to dual boot like I used to on my old Dell but, I don't need to find my laptop running out of juice in less than an hour because my Nvidia card won't turn off.
Thanks!

Yeah you will have no issues upgrading; the P150EM meets and exceeds the requirements the upgrade assistant checks for. There are no 'official' Linux drivers for Optimus, but there is the bumblebee project that you can look into. I haven't gotten much feedback on it just yet, so I don't know how well it works - let alone for Clevos.

Just to be sure, I've gone to Intel, Sager, and Nvidia's site to look for the latest drivers. Do these sound right? This is also the order I'm installing, am I missing anything?

After the chipset it makes no difference the order.
