    Sager NP9150 UEFI windows 7 problem..

    Hi.. i have troubles for boot up windows 7 installation when i tried to boot up i got a message and it says:

    Windows failed to start..... bla bla bla

    1......
    2....
    3......

    if you ...<bla bla

    File \EFI\Microsoft\boot\BCD
    Status: 0xc000000d

    i tried to boot from usb and DVD same results

    another thing it with my bios.. when i set the uefi mode its says ... OS SELECT : windows 8 and nothing else ... i dont know it my bios only supports windows 8 in UEFI mode

    i tried install windows 8 in uefi mode and no problems but the performance in my Nvidia 680m is strongly decrase..

    i change de image .. burn differents DVD.. differents language images... and no solutions...

    my bios its an APTIO bios

    That's how I usually read it too. :p

    You need to enable CSM/Legacy BIOS. Windows 7 will not install under UEFI. Secure Boot needs to be disabled to boot off of the media (disc or usb drive) as well.

    how i know if my bios have CSM/legacy bios enable??
    secure boot its disable

    i have a aptio bios and np9150 with the last bios firmware by sager support center

    Look for it within the BIOS setup.

    That's for an Asus laptop but it's Aptio BIOS.

    Disable that, then try installing Windows 7 again.

    but im trying to install windows 7 in uefi mode dont affect that?? because if i install windows 7 in normal mode all its ok without problems

    I have same issue with my new NP6652. I got reply from XoticPC that Sager told blocked UEFI installation for Windows 7. I think unless Sager remove the block, we're not going to such chance except Bios Mod. Very Sad now can't install Windows 7 in UEFI mode.

    You need to use my BIOS Mod (in my sig) to install Win7 in UEFI mode. :)

    why with my bios i cant load windows 7 in uefi mode and with your can...?

    with your bios what can i do different from the original ver???

    uefi with windows 7....
    i dont know .... mmmm change bios image etc..

    Stock BIOS can use UEFI only in combination with Win8 Mode...link in my signature.

    I hope there is an unlocked bios for NP6652. No overlock, just able to use win7 under UEFI and advance bios menu.

    Prema, do u think u have time to do that?
