I ordered the NP9150 yesterday without the mSATA SSD. I will be buying a mSATA SSD in a few months. I have a few questions on the mSATA installation:
1. Does the NP9150 come with the mSATA mounting screw? If not, what size of screw do I need?
2. Can I install Windows 7 on the mSATA SSD and use my Samsung 830 series 256 GB SSD for my apps, games, and files?
-
1. The mounting screw is normally left attached. You will need to remove the back to check if your is still there.
2. Yes you can, although the mSATA will be slower than the 830. SATA2 rather than SATA3. -

As Tmets mentioned you dont want to do that because of the difference in SATA port speeds. But you can kinda do what you want, instead of putting apps, games, and files on the SSD you can put them on the mSATA.

mSATA transfer speeds reach a max of 3 Gb/s (theoretical; deja vu, Hutsady?
), which is equivalent (again, theoretically speaking) to SATA II speeds.
The SSD will be able to function at SATA III speeds, which the max theoretical is 6 Gb/s. -

If the sort of files you will be putting on the mSATA are all smaller and that's the kind you want from it or you just want it for the OS to clear your other SSD for applications then it will be fine, consistency and small file speeds are usually more important anyway.
