Hey all, it's me again :)

Just recently, I purchased a 32GB mSATA SSD in anticipation to use it as a cache drive or run my OS on it. Unfortunately I cannot not find the mSATA port on the Sager/Clevo NP9150/150EM laptop :( I opened up the bottom cover, and even looked under the HDD bay, but I still couldn't locate the port.

I have done some searching online and looked through the user manual, but I can't find anything on it. Is it located behind the keyboard, or do laptops that do not have them installed by the factory not have the port?

Any information on this would be very helpful and much appreciated!

You can see it above the CPU fan on the left.

    Thanks for the reply.

What is interesting is that I thought that was the mSATA connection, but there was nowhere on mine that the mSATA SSD would actually insert into. It seems like there is a missing adapter or something. Is your mSATA SSD simply fixed into place with its connection placed on/touching the mSATA pins, or did it actually insert into it?

Attached is an image of what mine looks like. Sorry about the lack of focus, my phone can't take good macro photos with flash.

That's the correct port. The metal thing there is where you use a screw to keep it in. It fits fine and easy, I installed my Mushkin Atlas easy here. I like it a lot.
