    Hey guys,

My phone fell on my keyboard and caused the 8 key on my nunberpad to pop off... Tried to just press it into place but that doesn't seem to work. Do I need to clip it into place again in some specific way? Just looking for some help haha.

Or perhaps some of the plastic broke on the key or the plastic switch part? Does anyone have pictures of what those should actually look like? Looking at the underside of my key everything looks normal... two little "c" shapred claws on the top and L shaped clips on the bottom. The switch doesn't appear to have any broken plastic parts...

    Thanks for any help guys.

Have heard this asked a few times and there hasnt been any solution to get a single key back on, you typically have to get a new keyboard. Your best bet to get one of those would e to contact your reseller.

I had the same problem on my old Gateway. My r key came off because of DOTA (darn you sniper!) and I spent days trying to get it back on. Showed it to one of my friends, who somehow just popped it back in. If it isn't broken, it should be able to get back in, you may just have to fiddle with it a bit

Depends on what is broken - if anything - and if you're missing any components. As long as nothing is physically damaged and everything is still there, you can snap a key back into place. But a lot of the times, a user will be missing one of the little hinge clips that secures it, in which case you'll need to just replace the whole thing (unless your reseller or someone else can sell you a single key with the clip).
