I picked up a pelican 1495 with the gel-padded notebook sleeve and lid organizer and it fits the 9262 like a glove. It's crush-proof, dust-proof, water-proof to 30 ft while able to float a 45 lb cargo, and corrosive resistant. It also comes 4 latches, a 3 digit combo lock built in and a nice shoulder strap with ample gel padding for your shoulder - you're going to need it for the combined weight of the laptop and case ( ~ 21 lbs ). Although a bit weighty I think it's worth it if you plan on taking your 9261 with you a lot, or if you travel for your job like I do. It holds my 9262 with a logitech laser mouse and the power brick. Tough as a tank and fits like a glove.

IMO, a Targus case is a better option. I have both a Targus and aluminum case, and the Targus offers better protection at half the weight. It fits my 9262 comfortably, my power supply in the big elastic pocket on the back, my headphones and mouse in front, and still has room for a 2-slot file seperator pocket as well, plus various internal pockets for cds, spare batteries and cables, etc. It also has an insert that helps spread out forces to the whole of your laptop, should it take a hit, rather than just the single point where it gets hit (thus reducing the risk of your beautiful WUXGA screen cracking if your bag gets hit).

I second the Pelican 1495 mentioned by saintalfonzo. I cant believe it actually fit the 901c w/power brick beside it. I added some pics so you can see the fit and decide if its what you want.

    Hope this helps.

That case looks great, except for the logo on the bottom.

hehe, perhaps print your own logo and paste it on top.

Pelican cases are the best in the world for durability and protection.

They are used for everything from TV's, to PC's, to scuba gear, to sniper rifles.

If you don't need this kind of protection, then some of the other cases may be more flexible and offer more space.

I went with a Targus backpack but I think I might get a nice case sometime in the future as well.

A backpack is great for a heavy notebook like the D901C, but doesn't offer as much protection as a case.
