This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi guys.
    I been learking i am planning to get the second video card for my 9261. Since the 8800GTX is available will the 8700 GT is going to be discontinued or it will be available to. I have no plans of getting the 8800GTX but i am planning to buy the 8700GT so i can have sli on my system. I am happy with a single card but i will still like to the second one. THanks.

    At this time there are no plans for the 8700 to be discontinued.
