I just got my sager NP9261 that a friend ordered for me from XoticPC.
I installed all the drivers on the cd and I'm running a fully updated windows XP Pro. My problem is that when I'm doing something else(pretty much anything else, not necessarily processor heavy) the laptop lags(visual and sound stutter/slowdown). I think I saw this problem before on this forum? I might be wrong, but I couldn't find it..

    (I'm running a Q6700 with 2 GB and a single geforce 7950 GTX)

    Interesting.....

I would start testing everything to see what it is... Maybe even try redoing the system.. to start off fresh to make sure....

    it might be software related...

I would try to eliminate hardware issues by:
    - getting MemTest86+ and running a full run
    - then try wPrime to test CPU
    - then 3DMark06 for videocard and rest of system
    - then HDTune for Harddrive

thanks, you guys are awesome, gonna test it now :)

one more question, i'm not really getting the videocard driver updating, so I download the latest version at laptopvideo2go.com and then I'm supposed to find some inf file?(otherwise it'd say that it cant find the drivers for my hardware) I have no idea where to find those inf files?

PsychOFOx - the modded .inf's are on the laptopvideo2go.com driver pages. There should be links for the .inf right next to the link you click on to download the driver itself from that site. Take another look, and I'm sure you'll see them :)
