I have a Sager NP9262 and the hing / corner that connects the LCD part to the bottom part of the chassis is broken, I have taken several pictures to show the damage. Based on these pictures can someone please tell me which parts I need to purchase to be able to repair it like new? I have never completely disassembled the laptop so I don't know exactly what parts need to be replaced. The only part I know I have to get is a new hinge, which I have already ordered.

But there are several different parts I can buy online off ebay etc that might be what I need, such as the entire case, the lcd frame, the bottom chassis, the top part of the bottom chassis, etc.

    Here are the pictures:

Not sure as you didn't disassemble it.

At least you need a hinge cover(part number:6-42-D61CY-200 or 6-42-D9TAY-501).
And you may want a new top case module to replace your broken one.(6-39-D91C2-011 or 6-39-D90C2-012)

Unbelievable, the same thing happened on my old np9260, for both hinges. I was think of getting it repaired, but realized that besides having to get both left and right hinges, that I would have to also replace the upper and lower chassis. That's when I bought the Alienware.

Looking at your pictures, it looks like your D901c is going down the same road. I would check if you can see any cracks or hairline fractures around your hinge holes (e.g. your 2nd pic). The weight of the metal prong on the back part of the lower chassis will eventually break all the housing around it, I would say that will happen in around 2-3 month depending on usage.

If you really want to keep it going then I would start looking for a new upper and lower chassis for the future. Note that this would require removing the motherboard etc. That is why I just called it a day. I still have my D901c, it's a pity because the only problem with it were the hinges/chassis breaking.
