I've had my Sager NP9262 for about 6 months now, and it seems the screen has become fairly loose. It stays in the position I want, but it wobbles a good inch or so back and forth extremely easily. To tighten it, will I have to take it apart? I'm assuming the screws to tighten it are located within the interior and screw in upwards, as the screws in the back didn't seem to solve the issue. I'm confused as to what could have caused it, as I don't transport it often. It's typically sitting open on my desk. But I'm thinking it may be possible that due to it's immense weight, carrying it with the hinge side down in the laptop bag may have loosened it.

And has anyone else noticed that after a few months it seems to over heat much easier? It's got the 9800GT graphics card, 4gb ram, and 2.66 ghz quad core, running Vista, and when I first got it, it ran completely cool. Now, even with a laptop cooler underneath and the fans set on high, it gets extremely hot-even when I just have a web browser open. Anyone dealt with this issue before and know what causes it?

    Thanks :)

Regarding the overheating: after six month the fans might stuck with dust. Time for thorough cleaning.

contact you vendor about the screen since its still under warranty.

as for overheating.... like said above:
    - make sure to clean out your vents and fans regularly to prevent dust clogs.
    - always monitor your temps to give you an idea about heating issues.

I've had my 9262 for over a year now and the screen is still solid and the hinge is tight. Best to call and ask your vendor.

You definitely need a cleaning as well.

You should absolutely open up your NP9262 and clean it out.
