    Hi everyone,

I bought my NP9262 in January 2009. At the time I had no thoughts whatsoever to overclock it. It could play any game without a hitch. But now..it's running a bit slow with the newer games. Especially, Call of Duty Black Ops. Is it possible for me to overclock my GPU? I've installed Ntune but BSOD's everytime I start the program. I'm not sure if it's because it was last updated in 2009 or because I have custom drivers installed from laptopvideos2go.com. Any help would be appreciated! Help me bring my sager back from the dead!!

    Btw, here are my specs:

    2.8 Ghz Quad-Core
    Nvidia Geforce 9800M GTX 1GB
    4GB RAM

You really do not need custom drivers. Just use the latest Nvidia Verde driver found on their website.

As for overclocking, avoid Ntune like the plague. Use MSI AfterBurner. It's a great program, and it includes accurate temperature monitoring. Note that it may incorrectly show your GPU clock speeds in the monitoring graph... but the values you set are correct. Don't panic about that.
