Does anyone know of a way to automatically turn the fans on a Sager NP9262 up to max when it boots up? I have to hit Fn+1 every time, if I do not put max fan on my video card will start to overheat very quickly (Nvidia Quadro FX 3700m). I have not been able to find any way to do that. Can anyone think of a third party software or some sort of "hack" that would enable me to do this at startup? This would save me from having to move my external monitor off of the closed notebook, open it up , and press fn+1, which is a pain in the .

i dont think you can do it with normal controls on these older lappys like my
    m860tu as well.
this has to be asked but when was the last time you cleaned out the vents and fans? also what temps are you getting for cpu/gpu
hopefully someone might know of a third party software that can help.

You don't really need to max out the fans during the boot stage unless there is something wrong with the cooling system. Your 3700M temps should start slowly rising from the mid 30's - low 40's towards ~60C when the fans enter a middle speed mode that will eventually reduce the temps to the low 40's again.
You may also improve the cooling with a cooling pad additionally to the cleaning process.
