Will the Sager NP9280 ever have the ATI 5870 as an option in resellers like xoticpc, gentechpc or anyother reseller? Is it possible or not? if not, then why?

If thats the X8100, right now simply the answer is no.
Reason for that is simple; the current Clevo cards do not feature a crossfire connector. If cards ever become available with them, AND we aren't on the verge of seeing the new Southern Island code-named cards about to hit the market (Southern Islands is the go between series that ATI are producing until TSMC/GF are ready to produce thier completely new design, its kinda a half-way new architecture), then PERHAPS we will see crossfire versions.

Ok apologies, I dont really focus on Sager because Im not in the US, and the number rang a bell :)
With the D900F I think it'll really depend on whether they think it worthwhile from a workstation point of view, as that's really the market those are aimed at, and arguably CUDA is more relevant on that side, as OpenCL is still in it's infancy, even if the ATI card itself is faster.
I can't remember whether the D900F is MXM3 or 2.1 either which may be a factor.

Since both are MXM3.0. I guess that some bios update is the only thing needed. Any info from resellers?

I wanna buy the D900F from xotic, but want to know if they can make the laptop chasis look like the PC Microworks XR5?! The carbonfiber thing looks so awesome.

Hey guys, what do you think of iBUYPOWER NP9280. It looks awesome and is cheaper with the intel 980X CPU than other resellers.

Yes, but it only allows 2 of the three hard drives, only comes with 2x max Blu-ray, and you have to pay extra for a intel 5300, while a 6300 usually comes standard in other resalers. If this doesn't bother you, go ahead.
