Hello and good morning to all.

I was reading last night while at class about this new BIOS which has not been released from Sager. The new BIOS is 1.00.05 and I'm running .04 currently.

So after reading about the marginal but positive gain that enabling Turbo Boost can provide, I am considering flashing to this 1.00.05

Just posting here to see WHO ELSE is currently running .05 and wondering if they have had any issues.

    Thanks to all in advanced.

I just wanted to say that I am currently running the the 1.00.05 BIOS and having no problems at all. Just got done playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 for about two hours with the new drivers Nvidia just released yesterday. Ive got to say, with the new drivers and Turbo Boost I could feel improvement in general.

I know that if I were to benchmark with Turbo Boost enabled and without, that the results would be very minimal. But thankfully, Toms Hardware has already done this for us.

I also attached a picture of what the multiplier is changed to when Turbo Boost is enabled. This is a pretty nifty feature incorporated from Intel when I would recommend using. Depending on the threading of an application, this can improve things drastically.

    with the 1.00.05

i think that the new 1.00.06 also has the turbo boost because normally the updates are accumulative. Someone has the D900F can confirm this.

    confirmed :)

and don't confuse the ABILITY to use TurboBoost with the OPTION to turn it on/off. the ABILTIY has been there since the first bios rev i used, which was .02 - while the OPTION has been added in .05
