    Hello,
My screen has been shutting off whenever I play games on my laptop after prolonged use. I have deduced that it is a heat issue. My question is how can I be able to adjust the speeds of all 3 fans from Windows? I can use the function keys but I use an external mouse and keyboard and use my TV as a monitor. I have tried Speed fan which is useless as it cannot find the fans on anything. Riva tuner is confusing and I cannot even use it (besides overclocking).

    Help!

fans directly controlled by ec, which is as bottom as bios, and no way to adjust it......
but series add a variable resistor on each fan wire will help :)

I know that command..... I cannot do that from my external keyboard.... How do I tell the fans to spin all the way up from an external keyboard? I have a gaming keyboard so would it be possible to map the macro of the fn+1 key combo?

What's wrong with the internal keyboard? Is it broken?

No its not. The laptop is inside an enclosure that has a fan inside of it to keep it cool. I need to get a macro for the fn+1 key combo but i tried with the logitech software and it couldnt not detect the FN key. So I guess I should look for an external keyboard that supports a FN key?
