So as I do every month I was cleaning my laptop today. The fans that come with the laptop seem very cheap and not very efficient too. My question is, are there better replacement fans for this model laptop, OR can I get the specifications of the fans inside so that I can just replace the blades/motors and keep the fan housing?
I've researched all three fans and with their model numbers all I can come up with are were to buy replacement fan units. Below are their Model Numbers:

Some considerations:
- Maximum draw on 5V fan connector is 0.5A, so 2.5W. The three fans you have are 2W and 2x 2.5W, respectively. That's pretty much top-of-the-range, except a few very rare 0.55/0.6 Amp fans, but the difference is negligible (tested them).
- You could pull off the blades, separating them from the bushing, in order to grease the bearings (more silent running). Don't do that on sealed bearings though; these are best left alone. Think yours are regular type, though. If they're very difficult to to take apart then it's a sealed bearing.
- The bushing itself sits on a tiny pcb, which is glued/clipped to the plastic part of the housing; can't take apart without destroying the housing.
- Fan blades' axle must fit bushing and their diameters/lengths are not standardised; blades+bushing is single item, maybe excepting same manufacturer's series.
- It is possible to reuse broken/old housing with new de-housed/clipped-off fan; done just that with a 12V fan mod (in progress ...). Only problem is that housing has a tiny 'gutter' which holds the three/four wires in place. Turns out this is rather important as they're likely to wander off and get in the path of the blades ... very tricky to keep them in line, the little buggers ...
- Any replacement fan has to run at equal or lower rpm-high than the old one; fan is rpm-controlled by the EC and it's 'dumb' in the sense that there's no signal informing it of the specific max. rpm the currently attached fan is rated for. Need to bypass fan control if it isn't a fan of similar speeds.
So ... no, not worth the effort (in this instance).
Try running without bottom cover; if that helps then consider a dremel and some fan guards. Basically clevo never skimp on fans, they are always decent units.

They're proprietary parts making replacing/upgrading kind of difficult. Mods are doable but sometimes risky.
