Hello,
I purchased my Sager NP 9380-S back in September 2013. For the first 6 months or so of owning it, I used the Stereoscopic 3D non-stop after doing some troubleshooting to get a display glitch to go away. I moved homes and thought that I lost my 3D glasses, so I've been without them for about 8 months or so. I recently found them and tried to use them again, but I can't get the Nvidia control panel to recognize that I have a 3D display. The Stereoscopic 3D settings were once in the Nvidia control panel, they are now hidden. I have done clean installs of previous drivers, current, beta, and manufacturer default display drivers. Nothing seems to allow me to get the stereoscopic 3D display settings to appear. Has anyone heard of this happening or know how to override the 3D display panel detection?
System specs:
Sager NP 9380-S (3D display version) prema custom BIOS
Intel 4800MQ i7
16GB of ram
2x Nvidia GTX 780m in SLI, display set to 120hz sl7 custom vBIOS
256GB Samsung 840 Pro (in RAPID mode)
500GB SATA III WD Black 7200 rpm HDD
*This issue started long after I began using the custom BIOS from prema and vBIOS from sl7. They were to fix the screen glitching with 3D*
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have the vBIOS from svl7 too, and I still have 3D options. It's weird that you DON'T have them since my old 280M had them too.
Are you missing anything else? And also, have you done a true clean install? Boot into safe mode, run driver, choose clean install, let it remove previous driver and when it asks to restart, boot into normal mode and let the install continue? Then see if 3D vision comes back? If it does not, I suggest working with nVidia's support chat. That's all I can think of, as the option is there for me:

I just tried what you said to do. The graphics drivers installed in safe mode, but they wouldn't install the 3D vision drivers without being in normal mode. So I manually downloaded the drivers from Nvidia rather than using the Geforce Experience installer. I went into the install package and manually ran the 3D vision controller driver. From there, there was an option to put the short cut options into the Nvidia control panel. I made sure it was check, but when the installer finished I got the error "Your laptop's panel does not qualify to run 3D". I then went into the install folder where all the drivers got installed and tried the nvstview and got the error "Primary display's adapter does not support NVIDIA 3D Vision".Last edited: Dec 18, 2014

Have you done any vbios flashing at all?
-
Yes, I flashed them the same week I received the PC to sl7 vbios because there's an issue with the stock vbios causing 3D to not work in this model. But that was the only time and my 3D worked for months after that.

I still can't get this issue resolved. I guess my next step is to try a system restore. On that note, does anyone know how I can save my custom monitor calibration file? I had my monitor calibrated by XoticPC and I don't want to lose the custom profile after the restore.

Should be on your driver disc. I don't know where to acquire it from the PC itself though, sorry.

Stupid question but are you certain that you are using the 3D version of the BIOS Mod? Maybe you updated to the wrong one down the lane?
Are you using BIOS 1.03.03PM v2?
Does it say: P370SM3 in F2 BIOS setup page? -

The colour profile should be in the colour profile section in control panel, you should be able to save that. Check with prema's suggestion first though.

Wow I can't believe I messed this up lol. I flashed the non 3D version and that's why it wouldn't work. Just flashed to the proper one and it fixed all my issues. That's awesome, thank you so much for your help and thank you so much for the modded BIOS. Without people like you guys like me would be stuck with a expensive broken brick once something breaks!
