    Does anyone know that if The sager NP9750V <10 or was it 7> in 1 card reader accepts 'xD card' that's being used in Fujifilm?

    The 7-in-1 reader supports the following:
    I don't think xD readers are that common; it's not a very widespread format.

    oh crap, well I was thinking of getting a Digital camera Fujifilm finepix z2 but it uses xD card.

    My girlfriend's sony camera is using the sony's memory stick and that somehow could be read in the card reader. I was wondering if the xD card can be read the same way as well or else I have to keep bringing it's dock station which is quite troublesome at times~

    Some cameras have USB cables that go right into the camera - you can connect that way. See if your camera can use a USB cable instead of the dock, which I can imagine would be very annoying to carry around.

    according to cnet review, the camera can only be connected to the dock~
    I feel that its quite troublesome, I prefer direct 'card' connect or direct 'usb' connect.

    I dont know if the review that they give in cnet is 'reliable'
    I personally havent seen the camera myself~
    So i dont know but all i know is that i know that my sager NP9750 has card reader and I dont know if it accepts xD card, but I suppose no huh? :(

    At a minimum nopwadays, I would get a digital camera that can at least connect via USB.
    I have a digitalk camera that is 5 MP and uses a SD card and can also direct connect via USB.

    With my Logitech G15 Keyboards extra USB Ports its easy to just plug and play :D

    I have the Fuji F810 and it will transfer the files via its own special USB cable, xD or the dock. I would be quite surprised if the Z2 did not have USB capability.

    I looked for a review of this Fuji model on www.dpreview.com and found this one

    It shows USB connectivity.

    Well, the reason I like this fujifilm is because so far among those type of cameras 'Thin and Skinny and small', it is the only one capable of taking shots in the dark WITHOUT the use of flash and still looks good. In addition, comparatively the quality of the photos taken are much much better, just that the downside is their xD card :(

    This is the source of my review;
    http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/digitalcameras/0,39005881,39096060p,00.htm

    See;
    The bad states that
    Connectivity ports are all on the accompanying docking cradle; no optical image stabilization; limited manual controls and scene modes; high ISO levels allows for dim-light shooting but images noisy above ISO 800.

    I dont mind the rest but 'the ports are all on the accompanying docking cradle.'
    So does that mean that we cant use the USB to connect directly to the PC as it can only be connected to the docking cradle? Also, cant we take out the xD card and place it on the card reader itself? But apparently according to Chaz, it cant be done :( at least not on the card reader that's in NP9750

    Has anyone had success with their MS Pro Duo with the adapter on their 9750 ?

    For some reason, my 9750 keeps corrupting the card. Not good but at least the pictures & movies were recoverable using a util...
