Hey all. I was wondering if anyone could help me. I can't seem to get my computer to boot. I have tried to update my ME firmware to the latest version on my Sager NP9870. After flashing it, it doesn't power to the BIOS and it just keeps resetting itself. I tried removing the CMOS battery and waiting but nothing else is working. Anyone got any suggestions?

ouch. Just checking you removed the battery + CMOS battery, held power button for 10+ sec, and put them all plus the AC back in when you then powered it on

sad thing is there is bugger all benefit from updating ME firmware its one of those 'if it aint broke' things

It's ironic because I was just thinking the same thing as well. I was trying to flash to 11.0.22.1000 and though I did all the appropriate steps. Then again, should of just left it the way it was.

Just tried it again. It's most likely bricked

Hey it's alright. I'm waiting upon an RMA request for the unit. If that doesn't go as planned then gives me more incentive to buy a newer one.

Yeah if you flashed straight from that then it's likely bricked.
