I'm looking into both of these laptops due to the 120hz display.

I originally was looking at the NP9152 for a desktop replacement, until I thought of how most people say G-Sync isn't worth it and it had a 60hz display.

The real question I have is the upgrade from The NP9872 to 9873 worth it, considering that the 9873 has a 3k screen res with (120hz)? I'm not worried about getting 120 fps. I'm more worried about avoiding screen tearing or longer response delays.
