    Hey everyone,

I am currently looking at purchasing a Sager laptop from either HIDevolution or Eurocom (SkyX9vsX7). One thing I can't figure out is the difference between the two chassis, NP9876 andNP9172, other then the NP9876 having a ~$500CAD price difference.

From what I have gathered so far, is that the NP9876 can support SLI and that it is heavier. Is this due to a more robust cooling system? The only thing I have found about NP9172 is that some users have complaints about the cooling system.

I am new to gaming laptops and the Sager brand, sorry in advance if the model names are off. Having just returned a Alienware 17r4 due to heat issues, I want to purchase a system that can handle the hardware that it has inside. Both models look great, just want to know if I should spend the extra $400-500 on the NP9876.

Thank you in advance for any information and or tips on my system!

    Shaun

If you get a single card with the vapor chamber heatsink it does mean the card will just stay at max speeds all day long.
