Hi guys, this is the specs for my possible future laptop

    Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 - 3.0 GHz
    NVidia GeForce 8800M GTX SLI
    3GB DDR2 800 Dual Channel Memory
    1x 160GB 7200rpm HDD
    1x 250GB 5400rpm HDD
    DVD/CD Writer
    Windows XP

However i already have the msi gx640 as you can see in my rigg. However I want a car and i have $2000 nz already saved up (looking at buying car around $3000-3500). Some guy wants to trade my laptop for his and $800 (600 US) in exchange for mine. I am quite happy with the price (may have different views due to currency however imo i thnk this deal is reasonable) but i was wondering what the performance of the 8800m gtx SLI is like? I was guessing around a 4850 desktop which isnt far off my current performance. Also has anyone run 8800m gtx SLI with windows 7 and could anyone recommend good drivers for me as i have heard problems with it. Thnks guys.

It's not a bad deal if the car is important to you. It will be slower than what you have and louder, but you could always throw in a quad down the road.
