So, i have been reading that Windows 7 that comes with the Sager laptops are basically the OEM windows 7 install?

if so, would this mean the SLIC table is already there and installing from scratch on a new HDD with a windows 7 OEM disc will give no issues?

These do not (afaik) have SLIC bios'es so you would need to enter the product key on a reinstall.

Please note... that Sager Branded systems with Sager Branded OEM OS are OEM Activated, no product key and end user activation needed.

The OS installed using Sager OEM disc is a Clean OS without added 3rd party softwares, or drivers ( so users can install newer versions without having to remove outdated versions).

The OS will function without the need of inputting the 5x5 key or activation as long as the user does not reflash any bios not released by Sager. :)
