    Sager Shipping Delays

    Is anyone else having the same trouble getting an NP8170 Sager with a 460M video card? I have been delayed yet again as Sager doesnt have any 460M cards in stock. LPC or Sager has had my money (cash) for 4 weeks and i still dont have my laptop.

    LPC keeps telling me every laptop with this card has been put on hold. I cant even believe thats possible.

    Can anyone else tell me if the other resellers are having this problem? is LPC giving me the runaround?

    We have been regularly shipping the 460M/8170, maybe there is some other issue?

    Justin, I'm waiting on an 8170/460M from you guys (about a week since entering phase 2). Any word on how backed up those orders are? The ones shipping now, when did they order?

    Just got off the chat line with Hoss at XoticPC and they have them in stock.

    What in the world is going on over at LPC? larry has my money and i have no laptop. getting nervous.....

    There was a delay on 460M orders, which was supposed to be resolved by early this week.

    i did ask him. Waiting for a reply. i would call him but that crappy cell phone he has gets horrible reception.

    We have consistantly shipped Sagers and Clevo systems as FAST as anyone in the business. THERE IS NO ONE, NO RESELLER THAT CAN GET THESE SHIPPED FASTER THAN US! PERIOD!!

    We have been shipping orders within 7 days of order, MANY, MANY, MANY times. We explained this very carefully to you this morning about your order

    XOTIC PC CANNOT SHIP THESE FASTER THAN US PERIOD, END OF STORY. JUST ASK SAGER, if you do not belive me.

    We have a long history of shipping very fast as many customers all over the world will say. We get orders built and shipped as fast as any Reseller... period!

    I can tell you that there are certain resellers out there that can get product out faster. Without a doubt. :)

    Our rep at Sager has had us processing them ongoing with this GPU/Model combination.

    careful man, dont think you're allowed to post "personal correspondence" as per forum rules. we understand your concern though :)

    if you're really that unsure about your reseller, maybe you should switch. i think if you're going to be spending a ton of money, you should be comfortable with the people you're working with. you seem to be turning to Xotic for guidance, why not get a refund and go with them? i'm sure they'll be able to match/beat whatever deal you worked out with LPC

    no offense there babyhemi. I think you guys are great, and if things didnt work out with the customization things i'm getting from Myth, i would have gone with you guys

    Listen guys, for christs sakes, i dont mean to cause a war here but what the hell else am i supposed to do?

    I have one reseller telling me if i get my money refunded he can get me a laptop in 5-9 days. I have another reseller who has my money (cash), guarantees he is the fastest shipper, but keeps giving me delay after delay after delay.

    Whats a consumer to do? Am i the first one to run across this dilemma?

    A few of us resellers of more established relationships with Sager and have been doing this for many years, some a decade of history. There is no need to waste anytime on an answer I already know. There is no need to argue back and forth.

    No argue intended. Sager ships according to the Sager confirmed order number as you well know. If we have a earlier order number it will ship out in that order. :)

    Then Larry why in the world can Justin/Hoss get me a laptop but you say they cant?

    I'm totally stuck and everyone is pointing fingers.

    Any joy in getting a new laptop has been entirely extinguished.

    Why would I or we at LPC-Digital hold your order? Why would we do this? We will go to great extents to assit our customers. We have since 1998!

    Many new orders will ship next week because a huge shipment is coming in from Clevo. Again we have shipped orders in as little as 3-5 days from order this month alone. Sometimes a componet is backordered and is out of our control. Sorry.

    Delays do happen. It happened to me and Hizzah over our SSDs. Don't forget the people that waited longer then you because of the SB recall. Babyhemi is trying to be helpful and explain things to you without being rude. But you're being rather disrespectful in return.

    Have to agree with Zaharias.. Maybe we don't know the whole entire story, but from what I've seen here it's beyond larry's control.

    Plus idk if id believe everything each reseller is telling you. They're seeing this as an opportunity to snatch up some more business :)

    Larry's a great guy, seems really nice so hopefully he's not getting too offended by this guy.

    I do understand that it's a lot of money to be held up in limbo though. It could be worse though. Myth has had my money for a month lol. That's my fault though :D (always changing stuff lol). But, since he does already have your money, you might want to be a bit nicer. Other wise he might glue all of your cash together and give it back to you for a refund :p I wouldn't want to be on bad terms with the people who are going to ge addressing my laptop concerns/repairs for the next however many years..

    Opinions are noted. But this has been a long road with a long story. it would be rather unfair for either of you to pass judgement on me based on a series of forum posts. I have many emails that easily describe my frustration with this entire purchasing experience.

    And each turn in this story i have been right. I had a funny feeling once my money was spent and the order was taken there would be additional chapters to this story.

    At any rate, i'm beat down and tired. I just want my laptop and i might as well wait rather than start this process all over. And i have no doubt my wait is not about to come to an end.

    As for post-purchase warranty/support, i wont hold my breath. i'm fairly certain this bridge has been burned and i'm on my own. That said, there are many legal venues to be pursued should my experience be especially painful.

    As it stands, i just want my laptop which i have already paid for.

    Not passing judgment on you. Just your behaviour (leave me alone about the "u"s spell check I'm Canadian) on the forum is inappropriate. I'm sorry your experience hasn't gone off without a hitch but this does happen sometimes and it's inevitable. I'm sure in due time your issue will be rectified and you'll be left with brand new shiny laptop that'll be everything you wanted.

    In short we're just saying their are better ways to handle the problem then venting out your frustration in destructive ways. Hope everything works out soon.

    As a fellow Canadian i couldnt jack with you.

    But i will take issue with my comments. I have experienced enough dealing with resellers to know the power of cyber-persuasion.

    And in fact i think this is the very place for problems. There are many posts referring to laptop resellers and members experiences both good and bad.

    This forum is not just for resellers. its for owners and customers as well. Its a place of free discussion concerning a free and open market place.

    No inappropriate language was used. Just very strong opinions. I pitched one reseller versus another and may the best reseller win. Thats Capitalism.

    As a paying customer, i stand by every word.

    One thing that would help clear it up would be if other people that ordered the 8170 with 460m posted their Order/Received dates so he at least knew if it was something to do with the Reseller or the Model in general.

    He would at least know it was a general problem and that he's not just getting the short end of the stick.

    As mentioned, delays happen, so you need to talk to your reseller and keep asking for updates on a regular basis. Remember, patience is a virtue. If you are not satisfied with their answer, then cancel your order and wait for your money to be refunded. "Pitching" one reseller against another is not acceptable for this forum.
