    Hi,

I live in Belgium and I'm looking for a new notebook and the ones that Sager sells are just perfect.
I just want to know if they charge the Belgian VAT or not?

    Thanks in advance.

Any imports will have to charge VAT.

Yes I know but do they charge the 21% from Belgium or the American VAT?

You pay customs tax to your country lol :p :D So whatever VAT your country charges, you pay... :)

I know that but my question is, do they recalculate the order to the VAT of Belgium or do you pay the VAT of for example America (+ import charges)?

This is an important question for me ^^

You pay Belgium taxes, not US ones.

I think this post wouldve answered your question seeing as you do live in Belgium given that you have Belgium as your location in your profile.....

In the European Union there are no import taxes nor duties. All you have to pay is VAT (which is not the same thing). You can find the VAT percentages on Wikipedia.
