    Hey guys.

I am about to call Ken at Gentech and purchase my first gaming laptop eva !! I plan on getting the Sager NP 8760.

I am humming and haa'ing over whether to get the warranty's and for how long. I have never owned a quality laptop, and am wondering if you guys suggest upgrading the warranty or if its such a quality computer there may be no need. No idea if the dead pixel for 1 year is a good purchase and then there is the regular warranty as well for the rest of the computer.

For some further info, I'm having it shipped to tropical queensland australia and right now the temps are mid 30 degrees celcius with humidity reaching 50-75%; which i assume is important as it adds to the heat the notebook will be in. But the notebook will also not be in the USA.

Any suggestions would be awesome thanks alot.

    Ronin

RE the heat, the 8760 should be able to cope with it the Sagers have some of the best cooling around. So if they cnt do it no one can. As for the warrenty I cant really say sorry.

I can only say that i decided to go with NO dead pixel warrenty and 1 year as standard. Hope what ever you decide you enjoy your purchase.

tbh if your spending that much on a laptop then the extra warranty is peanuts and peace of mind if anything goes wrong.

hahaha ha you make me laugh! Clevo quality is good but I'll be damned if you EVER find a laptop with that good of quality.

If you do not plan to fix any problems on your own then get the extended warranty especially considering how much your paying the extra warranty is a trivial cost
