This whole time I've been thinking (and waiting) to get 5790 which I might still go for as it is the "daddy" out there in its league.

However - seeing the specs and pics of this new Dell, I'm thinking it might not be so bad to have a smaller machine which I can still use for gaming from time to time. I'm not comparing this dell to the 5790, I know there is no comparison. I am just wondering if there is a Clevo/Sager comparable machine that is out or possibly coming soon that is in the same size/specs.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

IFL90/Sager 2090. I think the IF00 might be coming out soon. 14" iirc.

2090 is a 15" model, and a bigger one at that. It's not comparable to the XPS M1330 at all.

I say theres no real comparison with 13.3" laptops that Ive seen. I think if you want a portable premium machine then go with the XPS.

Well so will the XPS M1330, too. 14"s can't have the same GFX cards as 15.4"s readily have due to heat restrictions on sizes.

Well... the Compal HGL-30 was the 14" gaming notebook that is going to be replaced by a newer model (w/ Santa Rosa and 8600M)

The Compal HEL-80 (15.4") has already been replaced by the IFL-90.

Sager, as well as other vendors, will carry the 14" version when it comes out.

Well he was considering the 5790, so i didn't think size was too important.

Thanks everyone - I don't know why I remembered that there was some sort of similar notebook from Clevo that was on it's way later this year, but oh well.

I'll take a look at the Compal and see what they are like as I am not too familiar with these. Are these from Clevo as well? or is Compal a "clevo" like company in that they also OEM?

Yes, Compal is an ODM, and a very large one at that.
