Sager black friday sale?

Has Sager or the resellers traditionally done a black friday sale?

I am still hoping to get a good deal on the NP8255-S, with 780M, 16GB, 1TB 7200, and Blu-ray, or a 3D NP9380-SM3 would be nice too. Just don't know if I should hold out a few weeks.

A pretty good deal. Looks like it showed up Nov. 19th.

Last year it looks like these sellers had the deal: Sager, LPC-Digital, Xotic PC, PowerNotebooks, Pro-Star, and ReflexNotebook. And the deal was for the special edition P150EM/NP8150. I don't know if Mythlogic and Eurocom had a deal, as I didn't find one yet.

 

All resellers typically do run sales for the holidays starting with Black Friday. They usually get posted right before the holidays start.

 

All Sager resellers (XoticPC, LPC-Digital, etc.) will offer similar deals (from Sager). But Clevo builder like Mythlogic may have a different deal.

We (Sager Resellers) will all pass on any sales Sager is offering but may also include some of our own.

 

Well, Black Friday is officially Nov. 29. Last year it was on Nov. 23, and the deals seem to have started on Nov. 19th. So, by my calculations, we should see deals pop up on Nov. 25th this year.

 

So if I am right, we have three weeks before an announcement. And we can find out if my November 25th announcement date is correct.

I plan to order a NP8255 high end, or a single gpu NP9380 3D if the price is right. One way or another I plan to finally order my laptop.

 

I can tell you we dont have any set date at this time.

 

I know you can't say what, but have they told you what will be on sale? I was talking to another manufacturer and as of two weeks (or so) ago, the blackfriday units were already on their way into the channel.

Interesting. You can't really stock up or otherwise prepare though. I guess if everything comes from Sager, it doesn't matter.

Should be just a couple weeks away. No way to know which model will be featured. Be sure to check all the resellers as some may have additional models on sale.


I pretty much plan to buy when the sale is announced. If my model is on sale great, if not, then that is OK. But I would hate to buy now only to find it went on sale just a couple weeks later. So I can't take that chance. Wait and hope.

 

Well the guys who do the sales will know what to stock up on, they just wont tell us sales guys until they have been posted.

Well, if I am right, we should see the Sager black friday deals in one week, next Monday.

I think I have decided on the P170SM/NP8275 over the NP8255, it isn't that much bigger or bulkier, gives a bigger screen, better power supply, and supports two 9.5mm drives. I just wonder how the touchpad is, since one review says it has a rough texture so sliding your finger is not smooth.

Sager has included a price protection that if the price goes lower up until the end of the year the difference in price will be refunded. If you get a computer now and you see that happen just let your reseller know.

The minimal price for Autumn sale also has gone down.

I looked, I didn't see any sales. I saw the price protection. I even priced the NP8275-S, and threw in some upgrades, and it was the same price as before. Maybe there is more to come?

 

They will reimburse you with the differance as a credit.

I am looking to buy a W350ST, I configured shark 2.0 for i7-4700, 1x8gb ram and Intel centrino Advanced N 6235. It comes to $1027 and a 10% discount could make it to $927.
Should i go for it or wait till Blackfriday deal from US resellers?

 

Looks like the deals are posted. A bit disappointing all around. Somehow my builds still calculate within $10 of pre-sale prices, despite all these "Great" offers. I waited for black friday and I all I got was a lousy t-shirt (and a slower hard drive)...

 

Let's hope there is more, it is very disappointing so far. Even the credit would be better as a cash back refund. When I buy the laptop, I will buy everything I need. So I would have to use a credit to buy something I hadn't planned on buying. And, for me, I would have to pay tax on it too.

I will wait to see what deals show up next week. As the dealers have said, they are in the dark until Sager/Clevo tells them.

I did change it to USD. I am hoping they would give me that 10% off after applying the coupon posted in the deal section. I do a lot of video editing , rendering and photoshop. That is the reason to go for i7. Also the advantage if feel is that it comes with single dim of 8gm ram which i can slowly upgrade to 16gb a bit later.

 

I do gaming as well. I wanted a lappy which is best of both worlds, but with in a tight $1k budget. I ordered one last night.

 

I really hope there are more sales promos this week as I'm ready to upgrade from my NP8150 (560m) to 17" (770m) laptop. So far the sales on all the vendor sites are quite underwhelming.

 

Nothing better yet? Even Amazon has started the deals. From Sager we just get a price guarentee which most stores have all year long. They had a decent sale last year. hmmm

Does that mean they will wait until BF to announce the BF deal, and wait until CM to announce the CM deal? I wonder if Alienware has a good deal going for BF/CM?

 

I've become a regular visitor to their FB page the last two weeks. They pretty much said there would be a sale. It must still be in the Circle K.

 

I got some clarification from xoticpc on the price protection. You can use the credit towards a future purchase or have it refunded to you in the form of a company check. My guess is the price will not be dropping.

 

They said they will announce On/or very close to BF. The deals runs from BF to CM.

 

OK, so maybe an announcement on Thursday, with the deal starting Friday. Just a few more days to wait.

Yea, it is bust. No sale, no price drops as the prices didn't drop for the units I looked at. I tried to find mention of a sale on a facebook page, but didn't find one, but maybe I missed it. And maybe the sale will be Christmas sale, or a next year sale, or a hold your breath sale.
