    Thank you

Prices over there are crazy. way too high.
what costs $2074 at US based stores cost 2230 EUROS here, exact same configuration! means an extra 1,000 dollars, what a rip off.

i will simply order one from the US $2074+ $129 shipping and that's it.

Does the $2074+$129 include import taxes, etc?

^ Yeah don't worry forget about import tax. Did you look at clevo.fr? They seemed pretty reasonable to me.

Add the import taxes, brokerage fees, etc. If it's still better than ordering from a local reseller, give us or any other North American reseller a shout and I'm sure you'll get a good deal ;)

Unless you have to send it back for warranty.

^^which normally costs an arm and a leg returning it as far as i know you pay one way courier charges pluss insurance.
buy it from europe and courier charges and insurance are covered both ways.
but totally agree with you that we pay much more over this side of the pond.

True, there's always a risk of such a necessity. Even though you may never even need to use the warranty, it's best to have a local support.

You may find a few resellers from France more here:
    Portables4Gamers

You could also give it a try with the German resellers, it seems their prices are better since it is the biggest market in Europe.

Actually when I bought my laptop, without VAT it was cheaper than in US by about 100 USD.
