I'm starting to shop for a high performance gaming laptop.

I first I settle on the Asus G73JH-A1

it's about $1700 CDN and I don't pay PST because I live in Quebec

Upon research, I can get a custom sager NP8760 at about $2400US

Basically I get a faster CPU/Memory + Blue-Ray Burner and a PCI Express Slot and a better keyboard (more button)

It can be order from sager directly or by Xotic or PCtorque

Any candian have experience with them? Any Bad experience?

Is there anyway to avoid duty fee? ( I think NOT)

    Thanks

For a Sager, you could contact Home page they are based in Montreal. They have a special price for the shipping, they can price match any US sager reseller, they are very professional and friendly, no surprise fees and aswer your questions very fast and well. If you need service, it will be a lot easier.

For an Asus I would never recommend any online reseller because you will have to deal directly with Asus in case of a problem and Asus has the worst service ever. If you are near Montreal, I would really recommend Alco.ca because they are dealing with the warranty for the full two years and this have no price by experience.
