Hey Jack
thanks. Yes, I'm fearless!
I made a model guide and everything for this forum - check it out. Our first sticky -
Strange, this website didn't have any threads whatsoever, (or they weren't showing up for me) for Sager notebooks. Atleast not until I posted a thread and according to what I saw, my thread was the first one
, then all the others popped up.
Perhaps just some computer/internet glitch and the Sager forum was under reconstruction. -
Sager used to be grouped under the Botique section, then it completely took over that section.

We moved over a bunch of threads to seed the new forum. All it took was Chaz to push a little to get it done. We're always happy to start new forums, just prefer to have a moderator first.

I'm an old Sager fan. I remember my first 15" 10 lb Sager. 300 Mhz PII with a whopping 4 MB VRAM. Then I upgraded to the 750 Mhz P-III model with 8 MB VRAM. I was ecstatic...
Just reading about the 5720 GPU makes me want one, since I have drifted away into Mac land with a 17" Apple 1.5 Ghz Powerbook and my year old baby 10.6" Sony T250. With the Powerbook, video editing is a breeze and I carry the T250 everywhere using Verizons BroadbandAccess PCMCIA card, getting on the net without routers or base stations, in this case sitting at my desk at my job. Sorry to say something so small and portable like the Sony T250 or the Fujitsu 7120 would be hard to part with in my case. I'll just have to get my gaming kicks from my PS2. Just wanted to say hello. I think when dual core finally arrives I will consider getting another laptop, perhaps a Sager again. -
Yay new forum.
For my next machine I am very seriously leaning towards Sager 5320, and it seems discountlaptops.com is the place to get it. But is it better than powernotebooks.com?

Check ratings on ResellerRatings. You can't go wrong with either. I recommend PowerNotebooks because that's where I ordered. I wrote about them in my review.
