Anyone have pictures of the laptop bag that seems to come free with high end Sagers and sells for an additional $10 with the low end Sagers? Called "Basic Black Business Case" on xoticpc and "Standard Carrying Case" on powernotebooks.

Dont have a picture but to describe it, it has compartment for the laptop and a pocket on the inside. It also has a pocket on the outside to store some smaller items or AC Adapter.

The "Standard Carrying Case" that I received with my NP8760 is a very basic nylon genre of bag. I was dissappointed to feel no proper padding to protect the unit in the carrying case.

I can easily provide photos on this thread sometime next week if you're still interested.

I am thinking in investing into a Pellican Case as I will be carrying my unit over 400 km per month.

I use a Targus bag. The included bag that I received with the 8690 is kinda useless. Not enough pockets and document slots.

It's a pretty crappy bag. No real padding and virtually no space to carry around anything else. It'll just fit your notebook, power brick and maybe a mouse.

Don't pay the extra $10 if it's not included for free, and even if you're getting it for free, be prepared to buy a better quality bag to protect your $1000+ investment.

The bag does, however, make a great Christmas present for that friend or relative who gave you that ugly tie last year.

Thanks for the pic. Doesn't look like it can hold a textbook in addition to the laptop.

I used to carry a separate satchel for the cooler and books/papers before I invested in a backpack.

It's a cheap piece of Chinese made, sweatshop crap. I'd be embarrassed to give it to anyone other than a homeless person or someone I didn't like.

These standard laptop bags have quite limited space and I think that for a heavier laptop are not appropriate since, at least for me, it is bad to carry stuff on one shoulder only.
