    Hello,

I am curious to know what Catalyst version you guys are using with this machine ? I have issues installing the drivers after fresh install of Win8. The laptop Freeze when installing the drivers supplied on the sager disk and alll the other versions that I have tried... (I am suspecting a broken video card). I am going to go to the resseler this week, they ordered a replacement video card.

I am curious to know if you guys had any issues with specific drivers and what are the version you guys are using if you have a crossfire 8970 laptop ?

    Thank you

I don't know about Clevo specifically, but I can tell you that I had the same behavior with my 7970m crossfire until I replaced one of the cards. The card refused to work even on its own. I assume without drivers installed the card is listed in Device Manager as "This device is unable to start"?
Try it out on its own, and see if it works. If it does, then it could be a crossfire cable issue, maybe, but my money's on a bad or incompatible card.

    Thanks for that post sangemaru
I really liked that phrase : I assume without drivers installed the card is listed in Device Manager as " This device is unable to start"?

That is exactly what I have noticed in the device manger. But I could not be sure 100% that it wasnt like that before installing the driver. Since it's my first crossfire experience ;)

It was working well before but froze once then the ... hits the fan since then.

    Thanks
