I ordered a sager np5793 about 7 months ago and since I got it it has had an intermittent problem with the keyboard (specifically the num-pad and adjacent keys) making a buzzing noise. This seems to happen when the fan is at medium speed (the same as when I hit fn +3). I never bothered to send it in at first, because it wasn't that much of an annoyance, but I sent it in a week or so ago and just got it back with the same problem--sager tech support said it needed a new fan, but when I got the pc back they had simply cleaned the fans and updated the firmware to 1.00.13.
I had looked around for some answer to this problem some time ago and seen that updating the firmware helped with some people having a fan buzzing noise, but I feel that this may be something different.
Here is a link to a video of this occurring (albeit on a minor scale, it can be louder at times). It seems to come randomly, and will sometimes stop if I put my hand on the keys briefly. Other times it will continue unless I hold my hand on the keyboard. Makes me feel like the fan is hitting the natural resonance of the keys or something... but that may be ridiculous. Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: I e-mailed support again with the video, they will send a new fan that I can replace myself. Is this easy to do/simple? I don't want to screw up the warranty on the notebook as I have never really tinkered with the insides of a pc before. Are there any nice guides to replacing a fan that I can get a link to? Thanks.

In order to remove the cpu fan, you will need to remove the cpu heatsink. This is quite straightforward and is detailed in the service manual (in my sig). However, make sure to properly clean and reapply thermal paste when/if you do this.

Ah, thanks! That was my biggest concern (whether or not I needed to reapply thermal paste).
