First an easy question for you all, what version of Bluetooth does the computer have? I bought a mouse (works usb as well so that ok...) but its bluetooth 4.0.. and well I cant get the mouse to connect to the computer
2) I checked the option to have my touchpad disable when a usb is plugged in for the mouse but it doesnt work anymore since I got my new mouse... any clue?
3) the real problem: so this has happened a few times, its seems like whenever the computer over heats and the battery dies, the computer cant find windows on my harddrive. I get this black screen saying I need to go into my bios. After awhile and recharging the battery, the computer turns back on as if nothing ever happened... im just scared one day ill lose everything that was on my harddrive. (I hope this was clear and a known issue that way you all know what im talking about. otherwise ill try to re-explain it)
Thank you for taking time to answer me!

1. The version of bluetooth will depend on the wireless card you chose with your system. The default card is 3.0.
2. Not sure what you mean. Does the option not work as in the trackpad is still enabled when a USB mouse is plugged in?
3. Haven't heard of this problem before but the main problem is you saying the machine is overheating which is never good and can cause system damage (Sounds like it happens a lot?) Not sure how to do a fix on this but sounds like something may have happened to the hardware itself. -
3) I mean it doesnt happen often because I dont let it happen but lets say the other night I close the lid on my computer but I had a full screen video going on and the computer never went on hibernation. the computer was on a pillow so Im assuming thats the reason it overheated. In the middle of the night (not cool....) the computer started doing really loud beeps and then shut down as the battery was drained. I went to plug it in and i got the screen saying I need to reboot and find an operating system... I let it charge for a while and goes back to normal -

2. Try reinstalling the chipset drivers and see if that fixes the issue. I've had something similar happen on my Asus and never spent the time figuring out how to fix it as I just adjusted the way I type so I'm not hitting the touchpad.
3. Have you been able to repeat the issue past that one occurrence? It's still pointing to hardware damage in my opinion but I haven't run into it before so it could be some other random thing I'm not thinking of. If it's working then I'd apply the "If it's not broken don't fix it" logic. -
3) I mean it has happened 3-4 times but I believe all those time it was due to overheating and the battery being depleted. Its as if it doesnt recognize my hard drive since it cant find an OS to boot. Its works fine right now and every other time that has happened, im just scared ONE DAY it wont be fine after this event occuring. -

Chipset drivers can be found on the drivers disk that came with the system as well as on Sagers site.
In the meantime just make sure you're not letting it overheat/battery deplete. A little preventative measure takes care of the existing problem completely. -

Another issue I seem to have is that my computer NEVER remembers my brightness settings lets say I unplug the power cord it will go 0 light where as I set it up with a bit of brightness... it never saves it
Moreover it seems like the computer wont go to sleep unless I set the "closing the lid" option to hibernation
They are all minor issues I can deal with but you know... you always want something to work the way its meant to... -
