I upgraded to Windows 7, and I have everything working, except for the mic, so when I cam chat and stuff, no one hears me.

    How can I fix this?

At the start bar, if you type "recording" or "microphone" or "sound", it should get you to the Recording properties dialog, from there you can configure your recording options and make sure the mic is at least recognized by the Windows.

I have the same problem on my NP2096, on the speakers properties tab, 2 jacks show up:

    1. ATAPI Internal ATAPI Jack
    2. Rear Panel 3.5 mm Jack

The 2nd one has a green circle next to it, but my mic doesn't work, do you have the same thing crazylink?

Edit: I just found the solution, took me forever to fix this. Here's the link: http://laptopforums.toshiba.com/t5/...rnal-microphone-issue-in-Windows-7/td-p/67803

Follow this and it should work fine.
