Any sager np8950 owners here have experience using the OPOLAR LC06 or basically any other vacuum coolers with this Sager model?

I understand that the model has vents on the sides and back so it should fit right? And how good is it exactly in cooling? Is the price premium(about 10 bucks more than a regular cooling pad) worth it?

I would not bother given my testing.

Whew, that's a relief given that i cancelled the order after reading up a little more on this device. Some were even claiming(lol) that the high suction power would even damage the stock fans by forcing the internals to run at an unnatural rate. Given that all the reviews online right now are extremely recent, i guess we wouldnt really know the longterm effects of this device.

Could you elaborate abit on your testing? For that matter would you reccomend a cooling pad then? My Sager hits acceptable high temps already even after under-volting and thermal pasting, which is to be expected, but a additional cooling option may help.

I tried it on a couple of machines, it's awkward, bulky and did not do much.
